The Michigan Advocate is pleased to post information about upcoming events sponsored or co-sponsored by agencies serving victims of crime in Michigan on our Community Calendar. If your agency is hosting a community meeting, sponsoring a bowl-a-thon, offering a training, or organizing an event that you would like to announce to other agencies or to the community, please post it here!

In order to be posted on the Community Calendar, events must meet the following criteria:

• The event must be sponsored or co-sponsored by an agency or organization that serves victims of crime.
  
  
• Events must be submitted to this website with the full permission of the agency’s Executive Director (or your group’s equivalent). By entering the Executive Director’s name below, you will verify that he or she has approved posting the information on this website.
  
  
• Event submissions must include the title of the event, sponsoring agency, purpose, date, time, location, website (if available), and fees (if applicable), as well as contact name, title, phone number, and email.
  
  
• The Michigan Crime Victim Services Commission will review all submissions. Events will be posted upon approval by the CVSC. The CVSC maintains the right to edit the content of the Community Calendar as it deems appropriate.
